I’ve been writing since I was five, and, as a teenager, I thought I was going to be a novelist. Only took me half a lifetime to get there.

In between time, I received my PhD from Notre Dame and BA from the University of Texas at Austin. Along the way, I’ve written many books, a few of which have been published.

Now, I teach writing, literature, and television at The University of Tulsa (TU).
